Role:  Production Labourer

Reporting to: Upholstery Production Manager

Location: Clayton, Bradford.  BD14 6LT

Type:  Full Time & Permanent

40 hours per week:
Monday to Thursday: 7.30am to 4.30pm
Friday:                           7.30am to 1.30pm

Overtime:
Monday to Thursday: 6.30am to 6.00pm
Friday:                           6.30am to 1.15pm

Starting Rate of Pay:  £ Competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collate & deliver components required to produce finished upholstered products on a just in time basis within a busy piecework environment.
• Perform manual labour tasks as needed, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Assisting with the processing, storage & distribution of all raw materials required for the department.
• Disposal of Department waste to maintain a clean and safe work environment, whilst adhering to all Company Health and Safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to developing a career in the Upholstery industry.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Possess suitable reading and numeration skills.
• Have the ability to solve problems.
• The applicant needs the appropriate physical fitness to be able to manually handle and lift heavy products.
• Previous experience of working within a fast-moving production environment is a distinct advantage.
• Flexible and be willing to work overtime during peak production periods as & when required.
